Who we are

The Rheumatology Access Expansion (RAE) Initiative (RAEinitiative.org) is dedicated to improving the lives of people living with arthritis and rheumatologic (autoimmune) diseases, especially on the Navajo Nation. We are a not-for-profit collaborative team, including rheumatologists from the four-corners region, rheumatologists from the University of California San Francisco (UCSF), and public health experts from the American College of Rheumatology.

The resources on this website were made in close collaboration with advisors from Health Native Communities Partnership, a national non-profit organization that works with Native communities to realize their own vision of wellness, based in Shiprock, NM (hncpartners.org). We are deeply grateful for their partnership and guidance.
